Tree stump and hawthorn behind, Grange Stone Circle, Co. Limerick 
- great fun. I wonder what that inscription means on the left?

bleak day. Pencil held loosely away from point.

Fluffy clouds & blue sky have appeared above heavier darker clouds.

All the above sketches varied in duration from 5 minutes to half an hour.

I think they're trying to find a way out..
used two pencils taped together for figure on left 
and one for figure on right

The face isn't what I would call convincing.
 Willow charcoal - 30 min sketch.

There was only a few seconds to capture the gesture for each of these

Inktense block, holding in an overhand grip near the tip.
 I couldn't expect the model to hold this pose as I went over the
contours repeatedly, so this is a DVD still.
